FCI Obedience

From Rock a Dog, we are especially excited to present our FCI Obedience group, as for years we have experienced competitions throughout the country, falling in love with the perfect way of building work in harmony with our dogs.

Our discipline called Obedience is perfect for enjoying your dog at another level. It is impossible to perform this discipline if your emotional state and your dog's are not in sync. The dog must be able to perform exercises with perfect precision and give an excellent impression on the field. That's why obedience is excellent for creating a very good bond with the handler. The exercises included in each grade, motivation, and positive work must be constant.

International Class Obedience was born in Nordic countries and began to be practiced in Spain in the 1990s, where it is part of the Royal Canine Society.

Currently, there are numerous OCI clubs that regularly host competitions. Scoring trials, Cup and Spanish Championship, and World Championship.

What You Should Know

The dog must have a good basic obedience foundation and the handler must be committed to training. Consistency and dedication are required to reach the highest competition levels. It is fundamental that the dog's and handler's emotional states are in perfect harmony.
